January 23 fly tying

Our first monthly fly tying session of the new year will be on Monday, January 23, at the Cabelas store in Gonzales. Time is 7:00pm.

Sydney Dobson will be demonstrating the Hollow Fleye. Originated by Bob Popovics, this baitfish pattern is effective for both saltwater and freshwater predators.  If time allows, the "Mop Fly" might also be demonstrated.

Bring your tying tools if you have some. If not, the club has a few sets for use. Materials are provided.

As always, beginners and other visitors are welcome!
